Sensory Supports

 

Using sensory supports and breaks is a great way to help your child regulate and prepare for activities and plans you have during the day. Some sensory strategies can be used to help calm the nervous system and allow children to relax their bodies, while other strategies are meant to be alerting and allow them to focus and get their wiggles out in an appropriate way.
